It wasn’t “the ending” so much as it was the last season in general. The writing took a big hit once the departed from the books. And they tried to accelerate the pace of storytelling too much. As a result events abs character arcs were rushed and the satisfaction of earning those things was lost.
For all the people complaining Beyond the Wall is too low, I'd place it as the worst episode in the entire series (hides in a corner). Good ranking though. I find your ranking of season 7 episodes to be pretty fair and balanced in particular (though I wouldn't have The Dragon and the Wolf quite as high as you).
As for binge watching, I can kind of see where this list is going because HIMYM had a much more long-term storyline than Seinfeld. I think Seinfeld is incredibly rewatchable, but it can be taken independently versus binged. Lol, someone having a different opinion than you means that their opinion is terrible!
But Game of Thrones is still 100% a success to them, however it ended. You're talking about a series that became HBO's most watched drama in season 4, overtaking The Sopranos, and continued consistently rising each season, up until season 8 where it averaged nearly double The Sopranos' record.
