I picked up Heroes 3 again like 2 years ago when one of Lexiav's videos popped up in my YouTube page. I quickly found out how easy HotA had made playing multiplayer and how fresh the game felt with all the QoL (quality of life) improvements & how the 'player meta' had totally changed the way I viewed the game (1-stacks are so good). I know this is old but I've been playing HoMM since 2. I loved 2, 3, 5, and I really enjoy 6. Between 5 and 6 I'd have to say I think 6 is better - I like the abilities and having better stuff for Might heroes. ErroneousBosch. I literally just posted a Steam review today. Age of Wonders series are dissimilar to HOMM, they are more in a Master of Magic vein (another all time great gamecheck out Caster of Magic) For AoWcheck out Shadow Magic and the Unofficial Patch 1.5, Wizards & Heroes for a better AI and Brave New World mods. 2.

Chronicles follows the adventure of Tarnum. All the Chronicles are one big campaign. And heroes 3 you know what it is. As mentioned: Every Chronicles game is a campaign - personally I'd like if they added just a couple (just 2 more maybe), as they're so enjoyable that I never want them to end hahah If a relatively long campaign wasn't enough

ToTE is my favorite game but the RMG sucks ass in heroes 5, thus replayability is very bad compared to heroes 3. Heroes 3 is only alive because the RMG is so good and the templates that have been created for it are balanced. Age of Wonders doesn't compare to Heroes of might & magic 3, but it does compare pretty accurately to another game from 20 years ago called "Master of Magic." In many ways, AOW3 feels like a continuation of MoM the ways Heroes feels like a continuation of a game from 25 years ago called "Kings Bounty." (No relation to the games on Steam

They are completely different (albeit related) games. Heroes of Might & Magic 1-5 are turn-based stratey games, while all the Might & Magics are roleplaying games. The relationship between the game worlds and storylines of the different series is a bit complicated, but I'm sure some MM experts can fill you in on the details.

at the current state theres nothing worse then VII but if VII will get fixed (i doubt it will but still hope ^^) it will be much better then VI, maybe even the best heroes game of them all. #7.
